Assistant Director (End Point Detection and Response) (Contractual) Full Time
Job Description
Educational Background
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree should be in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber
Security, Information Security or equivalent field. - Degrees should be recognized and attested by HEC.
Professional Experience - Minimum 1-2 years post-qualification experience in the Information Security field in a reputable
organization. - Candidates without an International standard qualification will be given preference.
- Must have hands-on experience with the deployment and management of Elastic SIEM or any
reputable EDR. - Preference will be given to candidates with CompTIA CySA+, CEH, Elastic SIEM Engineering,
and Security certifications.
Skills and Competencies
Proven expertise in Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) platforms, with experience in threat
hunting, policy management, and incident containment.
- Ability to effectively implement EDR policies and controls.
- Working knowledge of KQL and EQL languages.
- Experience in Elastic SIEM engineering, detection rules creation, dashboarding, alert tuning,
and log pipeline optimization. - Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting for automation and integration of detection
workflows. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve complex security
incidents end-to-end.

1. Selected candidates will initially be hired for a contract period of 5 years (extendable if
required).
2. Management reserves the right to accept or reject any application without giving any reason.
3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
4. Any candidate providing false information will be disqualified.
5. Government/Semi-Government employees must attach a NOC (No Objection Certificate) at
the time of application.
6. A 5-year age relaxation is already included.
7. Selected candidates will be required to provide medical fitness and character certificates.
8. No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
9. Attested degrees from HEC or relevant regulatory bodies must be provided at the time of the
interview.
10. Females, Minorities, Transgenders, and differently-abled candidates are encouraged to

11. Mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic gadgets will not be allowed during the
test/interview.
